Last Year’s Project
Since inventing the first boat shoe, Sperry Top-Sider continues to share their "Passion for the Sea" with those who enjoy the good life in, on and around the ocean. The Sea Project is a contemporary, culture-forward project inspired by a "Passion for the Sea” that fuses up-and-coming artists with fashion projects, street-level outreach, fine art exhibitions, and other creative initiatives. Each project is aligned with a non-profit organization to benefit from this effort.
The inaugural Sea Project Exhibit was held on October 25, 2012 at The Fourth Wall Project in Boston. This new and exciting project allowed artists, appreciators, tastemakers, sneaker-heads, editors, bloggers and cultural influencers to view and admire original works of art produced by six different artists. Half of the proceeds from the evening were donated to the Charles River Watershed Association.
